The Risk of Apathy

As a Church and as individual Christians, we cannot afford to remain uninvolved with the huge task of Bible translation. Modern Christians face so many distractions that threaten to pull us away from the work of the Great Commission; we’re faced with theological differences, competing preferences, and quibbles over passing things. But when we realize that Bible translation is a matter of eternal life and death, and that there are people who have never read the saving words of Jesus in their own language, apathy is no longer an option.

Shifting our focus away from our disagreements and preferences shifts our focus to the Great Commission. God is calling all Christians everywhere to ensure people of all nations are brought His Word (Matthew 28:19); this is the most important task — to share His light. What else could unify an entire generation of Christians in obedience to God?

You are a part of God’s plan to reach the nations. Take the 12VC Challenge today to get started.
