Life Without the Bible?

What would your Christian life be like if you didn’t have the Bible? You’ve probably never had to think about it — there are Bibles in every hotel room, church, library, and bookstore. How would you make wise decisions? Would you trust your own thoughts and feelings? Would you seek help from others?

Our own wisdom or the counsel of others cannot compare to the wisdom and knowledge of God as revealed in His Word: “In [him] are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.” (Colossians 2:3, ESV) His Word is a lamp to our feet, and a light to our path (Psalm 119:105) — it is more precious than anything on earth. Without it, we are blind and lost in a dark and dying world.

If we love our neighbor as ourselves, we must take Bible poverty seriously. You are a part of God’s plan to reach the nations. Join millions of other Christians and take the 12 Verse Challenge today.
